Information you give us directly
- Appointment / contact forms — name, phone, email, preferred date/time, and any message you write.
- WhatsApp messages — when you tap "Chat on WhatsApp", you're sending a normal WhatsApp message; we receive the standard WhatsApp metadata (your number, name as registered).
- Phone calls — when you ring +92 324 7734135, we may take notes about your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 records anonymised page views, time on page, country, device class, and which page you arrived from. We do NOT receive your name, email or phone via analytics.
- Cookies — small text files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and to remember preferences (e.g. cookie consent itself). No cookies are sold or shared with advertisers.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard access logs for security: IP address, browser version, request path. Retained for 30 days then purged.
2. How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule and follow up on your dental appointments.
- To respond to your questions sent via the contact form or WhatsApp.
- To improve the website — which pages help patients vs which don't (aggregate analytics).
- To meet legal record-keeping requirements (Pakistani medical practice rules require basic patient records to be kept for a defined period).
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not show you targeted advertising based on your dental history. We do not share your contact details with insurance brokers, pharmacies, or any other commercial third party.
3. Who has access
Within the clinic, only Dr. Muhammad Faizan Sheikh and authorised support staff can view appointment-form submissions. Patient clinical records (kept in our practice management system, separately from this website) follow the same access control.
Third-party services we rely on:
- Supabase — stores form submissions + blog content. Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany; GDPR-compliant.
- Vercel — serves the website. Standard CDN access logs.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics. Google's privacy policy applies.
- WhatsApp / Meta — for direct chat. WhatsApp's privacy policy applies to those messages.
4. Cookies in detail
The website sets the following cookies:
- _ga / _gid — Google Analytics, expires in 24 months / 24 hours respectively. Used to count unique visitors.
- Functional cookies — none right now; if added later (e.g. theme preference) we'll update this list.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies won't affect your ability to book appointments or use the site.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct — request fixes if we have something wrong.
- Delete — ask us to remove your contact submission (we may need to keep clinical records as required by law).
- Withdraw consent — at any time, stop us using your details for follow-up.

6. Children
We treat patients of all ages including children, but the website itself is not aimed at users under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children online — parents/guardians book paediatric appointments on their behalf.

Connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level access controls. We follow industry-standard safeguards, but no internet-facing system is 100% secure — we'd notify you if we ever discovered a breach affecting your data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or applicable laws change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
